A true PAO oil stands in a category of its own above all other synthetic formulas. Hot Shot’s Secret 5W40 CK4 specification is 100% pure synthetic using only Group IV and Group V base oils.
The 5W40 PAO CK4 is made of pure poly-alpha olefin (PAO) oils that require a very small amount of viscosity improvers to meet the weight specifications This allows the Hot Shot PAO 5W40 diesel synthetic oil to be loaded with more longevity and performance additives, keeping the oil cleaner longer and providing better mileage and horsepower.
The infusion of our patented FR3 Nano-Technology and CK-4 additive package provides unsurpassed levels of longevity and performance.
At Hot Shot’s Secret®, we infuse our oils with FR3 Friction Reducer® due to its exceptional performance-enhancing properties. FR3 Friction Reducer® is specifically designed to reduce friction and minimize wear within an engine’s moving parts. Oils with this advanced friction-reducing technology provide superior lubrication, creating a protective barrier between metal surfaces and reducing metal-to-metal contact. This results in reduced friction, lower operating temperatures, and improved fuel efficiency. The infusion of FR3® also helps prevent premature engine failure by minimizing wear and tear on vital components, such as pistons, bearings, and camshafts.
By incorporating FR3® into our oils, we offer a superior product that extends the lifespan of engines and other oil-lubricated components, minimizes maintenance requirements and ensures peak performance and reliability. Hot Shot’s Secret® oils maintain their performance for longer periods, extending oil change intervals and reducing overall maintenance costs.
motorcycle oil?
Steven Rachunok –
I wasn’t sure were to post this question so here it goes. I read on your site the article about adding fr3 to motorcycle oil and read about the test results on the Harley. MY question is Are there any plans of coming out with an oil specifically for motorcycle use? I have read where people have used rotella t6 or Delo oil. Now knowing that these are diesel tuck oils can any of your Blue Diamond oil be used? My Goldwing recommends 10w40. I am seriously thinking about using the Blue Diamond pao 5w40 in my cummins, and it would be great if I could kill two birds on this one and use it in my Goldwing. Any input would be Helpful. Thanks again

Blue Diamond 15w40
bobc2578 –
I just finished an oil change in my 2006 Chevy 3500 Duramax (225,000 miles) with Blue Diamond 15w40 full synthetic with FR3. I am very pleased with the results. I noticed a smoother running engine with a little better mileage, power along with better oil pressure. I didn’t have to add a drop of oil between changes. I would recommend this oil to everyone to try.

Which oil for a '97 7.3 4x4?
R.C. –
I am a farmer in VA, and this truck sees heavy use both on and off road pulling loads that can often exceed CDL weights. Would Blue Diamond be the appropriate choice? Which viscosity would you recommend under my circumstances?

Blue Diamond or Outlaw for my 2001 7.3l Powerstroke without a catalytic converter
Glenn –
I live in the San Francisco Bay Area. My 2001 Ford Excursion with the 7.3l Powerstroke does not have a catalytic converter. Which oil do you recommend for my 7.3l; Outlaw or Blue Diamond. I want the most protection and extended oil changes.

Also, can someone post used oil analysis? I have already purchased the blue diamond, but I am using up my stock of Amsoil. I purchased on faith. However, used oil analysis would be really helpful to confirm my purchase and convince others of the oil’s benefit. Thanks.
