Diesel Duo

Several years ago, after reading and hearing about Stiction Eliminator, I decided to try the product. My 2004 6.0 Superduty, with 55,000 miles at the time, was preforming perfectly without any issues, so I was thinking of trying Stiction Eliminator as a ‘pro-active preventative maintenance’ product. Now, the truck has 150,000 miles on the odometer, it runs smoother, does not smoke, and there have not been any issues with the injectors. I think the thing that impressed me the most is how much quieter the engine runs. On start up in cold weather, there is not the typical ‘diesel rattle’ that most cold diesel engines produce. Additionally, when the engine idles, the exhaust is clean, without the typical soot. One major bonus is that the EGR value does not get ‘crapped up’ like it did when new. I have recommended these Hot Shots products numerous times to other diesel owners and feel like I can continue to drive this truck indefinitely because the engine continues to run much smoother than it did when new.

6.0 powerstroke with 142,000 miles and two injectors starting to fail on cold startup. Changed oil and added stiction eliminator. Now at 143,500 miles it seems to be getting better on cold start with quicker start and less romping and white smoke for first minute. Fully expect to eventually change injectors but seems to be extending their life.
