GASOLINE EXTREME is a complete fuel system cleaner that improves fuel economy and power of gasoline engines by safely and effectively cleaning the entire fuel system. Gasoline Extreme is now infused with Hot Shot’s Secret’s LX4, a premium lubricity additive that prevents wear and provides excellent fuel system protection. This also acts as an upper cylinder lubricant, an added benefit to improving fuel economy.
The one-tank clean-up formula features a highly effective Polyetheramine (PEA) detergent to thoroughly clean valves, pumps, injectors, rings, pistons, and upper cylinders. Developed for multiple purposes, this fuel additive dissolves power-robbing gum and varnish and removes combustion chamber deposits to restore power, performance, and fuel mileage. MPG increases are documented up to 7.9% as verified by third-party testing, making this a much-needed fuel additive for older model gasoline-powered vehicles.
Gasoline Extreme with LX4 is recommended for any gasoline-powered engine, including agricultural equipment, cars, trucks, motorcycles, UTVs and ATVs, golf carts, buses, and utility fleets. One 12 oz. bottle can be used to treat 20 gallons of gasoline every 10,000 miles. Had positive results within 10 miles. Manufacturer specs call for premium, but I switch it uo using different octanes. When I added Gas Extreme it was better than putting in the premium. Haven’t checked for added gas mileage yet, but I don’t care. Performance has beeen better, and when the turbo kicks in, I’m impressed!

It was just about inspection and emissions time for my wife’s Acadia with a direct injection engine. The engine started to develop a rough idle fuel mileage was down and a check engine light just came on for a misfire. I used the gasoline extreme with the hopes of it helping just a little. Knowing GDI injectors and valves generally need to have a good cleaning process usually involves tearing into the engine to clean them so I truly had low expectations for this cleaner. (I use a lot of other HSS products and they all work great). Holy S*** even this is another great HSS product. 6 months later now no check engine light no rough idle and the fuel mileage is better then it’s ever been. Just like every other HSS product this does exactly what they claim. Another 5 star product.
