GASOLINE EXTREME is a complete fuel system cleaner that improves fuel economy and power of gasoline engines by safely and effectively cleaning the entire fuel system. Gasoline Extreme is now infused with Hot Shot’s Secret’s LX4, a premium lubricity additive that prevents wear and provides excellent fuel system protection. This also acts as an upper cylinder lubricant, an added benefit to improving fuel economy.
The one-tank clean-up formula features a highly effective Polyetheramine (PEA) detergent to thoroughly clean valves, pumps, injectors, rings, pistons, and upper cylinders. Developed for multiple purposes, this fuel additive dissolves power-robbing gum and varnish and removes combustion chamber deposits to restore power, performance, and fuel mileage. I have a 2001 Mercury Grand Marquis LS. It only has 58,000 original miles on it. About 6 months ago, it started to jerk upon slight acceleration, especially in the 40-50 MPH range. It actually felt like a sparkplug was misfiring. I took it to my local mechanic and it was showing no codes, so no help there. I was left expecting a costly process of “fix and see”, to include sparkplug replacement, ignition coils replacement, fuel filter replacement, injector cleaning, and maybe even a transmission overhaul. As a last resort, I ordered a 16 oz. bottle of Gasoline Extreme. Waited until the gas tank was almost empty and poured in half the bottle. Much to my surprise and utter disbelief, almost immediately, within the first 15 miles, the car stopped jerking/stuttering upon slight acceleration that occurred especially in the 40-50 MPH range. For good measure, I added the last half of the bottle upon my next fill up and since then, the car has been driven at least 600 more miles without a single problem. Needless to say, I know this product won’t eliminate everyone’s problem, depending on what it is, but it worked magic for me. I’m ordering a 2nd bottle to use in a couple of months just as a preventative maintenance measure.

I bought this product to give it a try. I drive a diesel and my wife drives a gasser. So I bought it for her to see how well it works. She used it and says her suv has been starting a lot faster and easier and that it seems to be running a lot better since starting the treatment. I was excited when I heard about this product because I have a 10yr old Dodge Ram so I definitely could use better gas mileage. Unfortunately I feel like I fell for a scam.
My first shipment was not delivered. So I had to request a new shipment. Once I did receive the shipment (even though it seems simple) there were no directions on application anywhere in box or on the bottle. Is this a fuel additive or added to the engine in another way? I chose adding to to the fuel. I’ve run this in my truck three weeks now and there has been no improvement in my vehicle’s gas mileage as stated. At this point it seems like a scam.
