EDT now contains enough LX4 lubricity additive to meet the Engine Manufacturers recommendation for a 460 micron in the ASTM-D6709 test for diesel fuel lubricity.
BUT for ultimate protection (especially in a Duramax) use the performance dose of EDT along with the recommended treat rate of LX4.

130 mL is very close to the treat rate for your tank size. While it is not recommended to use more than the provided treat rate, no harm will come to your vehicle in this case. The treat rate for our additives is set to give you, the customer, the most efficient amount of our additive for the lowest sale price. While over-treating can happen, we have tested at 10x the recommended dose with zero side effects.
