Great stuff

It’s great stuff. My 7.3 runs smoother and more quiet. I also gained a little bit of fuel mileage. I usually get 15-16 hwy mpg’s and now I’m 17-18 hwy mpg’s.

Prevention is Key.

A description of conditions is warranted. 2004 (14 years old at the time) Ford F250 6.0L Powerstroke, 120,000 miles, original turbo, original injectors, no smoke (white or black), fresh T5 oil every 3k and fuel filters every 12k. I have minor cold start stiction issues, nothing so severe that the truck won’t start. I generally use another product once a year to keep things clean on the oil side, but have used HSS Diesel Extreme on the fuel side with much success in the past. So this winter i decided to try HSS Stiction Eliminator as a preventive cleaner. Directions note to allow 4K miles for full effects, currently, I have only put 1K miles on the truck since the last oil change. As far as additives are concerned, I like HSS products and they seem to work as advertised. Given that I have only 1k miles on the stiction eliminator and have run the diesel extreme through 50 gallons of fuel, here are my impressions…1. Fuel economy is not markedly improved, however, nothing in the past has ever improved fuel economy other than how i use my foot. I average 17 MPG on my daily commute (50 miles of highway and local roads), closer to 22 at 60 MPH on the back country highways.2. Cold start ups are marginally smoother with less injector knock.3. Warm idle is noticeably smoother.4. Acceleration from 50 to 70 during my morning interstate merge seems to be smoother and easier on the motor.
